The Objective

RealEyes helped True Classic Tees build a sustainable marketing program while driving successful new acquisition growth with their actionable insights and knowledge of Facebook/Meta ads.

The Goal

Help develop the in-house team and impart the best practices and processes on them. RealEyes strived to build a meaningful and lasting solution for True Classic’s marketing department.

The Solution

An optimized marketing team and ad strategy


Upon kickoff, True Classic and RealEyes partnered to create a long term plan with goals for graduation. Next, the teams worked together on a two-pronged approach based on the key metrics that can be influenced. This resulted in all day to day activities revolving around

  • the creative strategy and

  • product offerings/merchandising

The creative strategy started by mining Facebook ad interactions and comments to find commonalities the audience wanted to know and see from True Classic. This opened a new targeting audience of women, expansion to a new scaled platform TikTok, and introduced humor in the

brand voice. By helping shape brand tone and representation, the teams were able to humanize selling T-shirts.

By instilling a test and learn mentality, the teams worked closely together to find the optimal way of merchandising products. The True Classic team was able to execute rapid testing with different bundles and shipping thresholds that lead to a 33% higher AOV.

RealEyes helped plan and trained the new in-house team on how to execute a successful strategic media approach with their tried and true best practices and processes.

Key Learnings

We started working with True Classic in Spring, 2020, and built a long range plan towards graduation. After bringing on a Director of Paid Social in spring 2021 and Digital Marketing Manager in fall 2021, it was time to graduate them by the end of the year. Some key learnings that led to a great relationship for both teams was:
